Your content is precious, and needs to be served by the best, fastest method to all of your readers

Your readers are worldwide, using wildly different connections to the internet, both urban and rural, so how do we best deliver content to them? We use Limelight, one of the world's biggest networks in order to ensure that wherever they are, your readers always get the fastest connection to your content that they support.

When you publish and are given a URL, all of the files sitting under that URL are populated out to local copies around the world. These local copies are situated as close (meaning either physically, or where the connection is fastest) as possible to your reader's ISP.

Your readers don't notice any of this happening of course – from their point of view, they're getting their content quickly (and it's coming from a nearby source).

We also don't believe in a tiered or metered service for this – as part of your purchase, all hosting is included by Limelight, but we don't restrict you to just that. For web editions, you can use your own host, or your own host with your own content delivery network – it's fully flexible.

Cloud Processing

Rapid, unlimited, flexible delivery of your publications to the Web and iOS platform (Android coming soon) in real time. Professional layouts, interactivity and animation to engage your readers. Performance metrics across your entire portfolio. Cross-platform publishing using cloud processing from anywhere in the world.

The EZiPublishing cloud platform handles new magazines, catalogues, books and many other print documents daily. The system is tough, built to scale with your needs, and has lots of features for different types of publication.

EZiPUblishing has done all of the hard work creating these tools, processes and technology to make it simple to publish your content, handling all of the tough problems for you - we even produce your editions for you if you don't have in-house resources to spare.

Sign in, create proofs, deploy editions, do market research, test new interactivity with your web developers, or just create simple editions fast. You can use as many or as few of the features as you want to when you get started.

Communicate with your users, provide them with rich content like video and audio clips, create quizzes, surveys, competitions or rich animation and simply drop new content onto your pages. Reorder or rearrange, preview your changes, integrate your editions into Google Analytics in addition to our own metrics and analyse how your readers move through your editions.

Security and Encryption

Managing access and permissions for your staff: EZiPublishing takes the security of your data seriously and we have built the EZiPublishing platform to act in a simple, secure but flexible way.

For instance, after opening a master account, you can create your own new accounts for your staff with their own privileges – perhaps a statistics-only account for your marketing department, or a production account without the ability to publish, so that you can enforce the correct QA process.

Encryption on the site and across WiFi to iOS devices: The publishing system runs over https (the same level of security that you would expect from a bank or e-commerce sites), as does the data to and from our iPad platform, securing your data end to end.

Self-hosting Option: On the web platform, the editions can run entirely independently from our servers allowing editions to be placed behind firewalls. Access and security can therefore be managed by corporate IT management on the company’s own servers.

Hosting and Uptime: With a world-class content delivery network, backed by a fully redundant system, EZiPublishing deals with the hosting for you, ensuring your content is always available.

If you choose EZiPublishing to host your editions, we automatically make them available via the Limelight content delivery network, using load-balanced origin servers with no single point of failure in either your edition hosting or the cloud publishing platform in general.

What this means in effect is that if any part of the system fails, the system is designed to be able to recover either automatically, or using documented processes to restore service in a few minutes – it's best practice for the industry, and whilst expensive, it's the only way to run a professional service for the publishing industry. We aim for uptime for your editions to be as close as possible to 100%, year round.
